Runewords — every known one, filterable
This is the only place tracking every named runeword in Path of Idle: Old Gods Rising with its granted skill, effect, slot and class fit — currently 10 named runewords from credited sources, out of an estimated 30–60 in the game. No other site publishes a working list yet; the ones that claim to are generated. We publish what we can verify and label the rest.
About recipes: as of the last update, no rune combination has been published anywhere public — the in-game skill description names the three runes each word needs. We are closing that gap through datamining and player reports; a screenshot of your Codex or a working craft is exactly the report we want. Every confirmed report is credited.

How runewords actually work
- Runewords are crafted at the Workshop’s Socketing page: a 3-socket common (white) or fine base item plus the three specific runes named in the skill’s description. ✓ corroboratedSteam discussions + community guides agree
- Sockets have SHAPES. Shapes are rolled randomly on the base item and must match the runes (defensive runes take shield-shaped sockets). Clicking a runeword shows why a craft fails. ✓ officialShape system confirmed in the official 0.3.5 patch notes
- A completed runeword converts/adds one ACTIVE skill and unlocks 6 runeword-exclusive talent slots (the empty row at the top of the Talents menu). ✓ corroboratedMultiple Steam discussions describe the same behavior

- Runes come from Rune Pouches (Rare and Legendary tiers, craftable at the Workshop) and roll their own affixes. Percentage-based rune affixes were rebalanced (nerfed) twice in official patches. ✓ corroboratedSteam discussions + official patch notes
Known pitfalls (the game does not warn you)
- The in-game guide and the craft screen can disagree. Killing Aura is listed for boots in the in-game guide, but the craft is rejected on boots — check the failure reason on the runeword screen before farming a base. community-reported
- Socket shapes gate everything. A 3-socket base with the wrong shapes cannot take your runes; shapes roll randomly on the base item. ✓ official
- Actives don’t stack. Granting a skill your class already has does nothing for the active; passives do stack. community-reported
What is still missing — help close it
- All 10 recipes. The exact three-rune combinations are in each skill’s in-game description. Screenshot yours and send it in.
- The full rune name list. Nobody has published the rune roster from Rune Pouches.
- The remaining runewords. The in-game Codex lists them all; we have 10 named so far.
